I too am tired of the overkill when a celebrity dies.   They were no more of a person than you or I.  They just had different talents and were paid better.</description>

		<description>I don&#039;t think Americans are alone in the fanatic business. Remember how crazy everyone in England went when Princess Diana died? I do think that the media whips people into a frenzy by making every tidbit of a celebrity&#039;s life seem important, but I don&#039;t try to justify the connection that fans feel. I cried buckets when Jim Henson died, and he wasn&#039;t even what you would call a celebrity. I felt a connection to his work, though, and his death saddened me. 

Also, a lot of people are able to separate the art from the artist; I guess that is what people did in the case of MJ. I was never a fan of his music, so that is the main reason why all the retrospectives are annoying me.</description>
