Casey wrecked his car already.
In his story he was driving home from work Monday night and out of the corner of his eye someone exited a bar on his left and aimed towards him so he looked over, taking his eyes off the guy in front of him. That guy missed him, but apparently the man in front of Casey came to a stop and Casey couldn’t stop in time and swerved but still hit him and pushed that car into the car stopped in front of him. No seat belt on so his forehead slammed into the steering wheel.
Other than that he’s fine. Just a little sore around the shoulders from bracing for the hit. Apparently the car is totaled. He’d peeled up the hood, one whole side and the windshield is shattered. Luckily he has insurance, so we’ll have to see how the whole thing works out.
This kid has shit luck, I swear. Every time life is going well for him he does something stupid and down he goes again. I spent all yesterday at his new house, driving him all over and letting him use my phone to make the calls. But that’s way over on 7th Ave and Baseline! I don’t plan on going over there too often. Nice little house, but they’re waiting for carpeting in the bedrooms so the beds are set up in the living room. Kira likes it because it’s all ceramic tile and her Screeches echo something fierce!
Wonder what happens next!

I just noticed someone I know is getting involved in the Farpoint Media podcasters bunch. I think he’s just a listener, but he’s coming to D*C and a dinner I was supposed to attend. I can’t. I CAN’T sit at the same table with this icky person and be able to eat. Shit.
Little dude literally makes my skin crawl.
Sran.
AAAAAAAaaaaaAAAAAAAAgghh
Then again, he always says he’s coming and then backs out. Maybe I’ll get lucky and this will be another one of those times. Yes, I’m a bitch.
And cavaticat, I know tosus through podcasting too. It will be interesting to put a face to that name.
My worlds are colliding!
There aught to be a website . . .

where you can load up your pictures (snapfish, flickr, etc) and they put the descriptions on the BACK when they print out the pictures.
I spent an hour on the phone yesterday with my mother trying to explain the wheres and whats of the 50+ pictures I had ordered online for her. Those pictures from Hawaii were especially difficult to place over the phone and out of any discernible order. If they could just print the descriptions on the back of the photos that would be great!
It can’t be that much harder to set the machines up to do that, right? Think of all those scrapbook people. What a great extra service! There are so many times I’ve looked at the older pictures I have now and hadn’t bothered to write descriptions on the back and have no clue where or when or why they were taken. They could even print that camera and date/time information on the back so I could stop using that ugly date thing on the front – usually ruining a really nice picture.
Someone should get right on that.
